I have had a fascination with goats ever since my youngest daughter become a pygmy goat owner in 3rd grade. I love them. They are fearless and hardy, curious and joyful. This assignment, from my very first illustrator class, allowed me to combine my love for goats with my fascination of all things mythological and origin-story.
Shirley, or "Shirl-The-Girl", was the queen of the pen. She lived with 2 male rabbits and sometimes rode them piggy back. She lived a good life and was an elderly pig when she passed around 8 years old.
